Welcome to The Pepper Set website.
The Pepper Set are a band from the Medway and Maidstone area of South-East England, with a versatile and extensive peppertoire of great songs - covers and original, that will suit any occasion. Festivals, parties, corporate functions, restaurants, weddings, and venues of any size or volume.
The Pepper Set Band are -
Tony Pepper on Lead Vocals & Guitar
Peter White on Keyboards, Left-hand Bass & Vocals
Phil Brown on Tenor & Soprano Saxophones and Flute
Andy Jenkins on Drums & Vocals
The trio line-up play live with a drum machine. Watch clips from a recent gig by clicking on the links below (you'll need to pause the media player).
The first track on the media player is a compilation of four original songs from the bands last CD, called 'Night Time'. It has twelve songs, all written and performed by the band.
The following tracks on the media player are some covers from a live gig recorded on a tape player from the front of the stage.
If the budget or venue are smaller the Pepper Set can play as a trio or duo (White Pepper). The band will provide the perfect mix of music for any event. For restaurants or corporate situations, while people are eating, we can play more laid back, mellow numbers to create a relaxed atmosphere, so that people will be able to socalise and chat comfortably; playing a livelier foot tapping set later. The band usually plays two 50 minute sets. However, depending on the requirements of your event, this can easily be adapted to suit your needs. It can be arranged for CDs to be played through the sound system before the band start, during the break and for a while at the end of the evening. You can provide your own CDs or ipod with your own play list to play through the sound system if you prefer. The band will always try to accommodate any requests for a special song for your function, e.g. the first dance at weddings.
Please come along to one of the Pepper Sets public gigs as this gives you the opportunity to see what the band do live and speak to them in person. All our public gigs are listed on the website.
